Our Team



John is the Managing Director of McStan Construction having established the company in 2009. He has over 21 years’ experience within the construction industry across the residential, commercial and civil sectors. His experience gives him the ability to manage and deliver complex projects with a focus on safety, quality, programme and budget.

John’s strengths are his ability to listen to clients and interpret their needs. His amenable nature, hands on approach and innovative problem solving skills ensures a strong contractor / client relationship. His management skills and construction knowledge ensure safe systems of work and the provision of quality supervision on all projects.

Niall graduated in 2008 with an honours degree in Quantity Surveying. He has over 9 years’ experience working working within the construction industry having previously worked with Pierse Contracting and Bruce Shaw Partnership.

Niall is responsible for the management of the tendering and estimating department, as well as the day-to-day financial management of all our projects. Niall ensures that the financial targets are met on every project for both the Client and McStan.
