Project Description

McStan Construction have completed the basement tanking, drainage and refurbishment works at Wasdale House, Terenure.

Project Features

The project consisted of the complete demolition and strip out of the existing basement to facilitate the installation of a Delta MS waterproof tanking system & underfloor drainage system connected to a sump pump. Works included the careful removal & offsite storage of the existing joinery, sanitary ware items and fixtures & fittings (for refitting upon completion); removal & disposal of the existing wall & floor tiles; breaking up & removal of existing concrete floor; lowering of existing ground level; installation of compacted hardcore; installation of new concrete sub floor; construction of underfloor drainage channels; installation of waterproof tanking system; installation of underfloor insulation; installation of new central heating & water pipes; installation of concrete screed; plasterboard & skim to walls; wall & floor tiling; reinstatement of joinery, sanitary ware and fixtures & fittings; painting & decorating.


The programme for the works was 10 weeks.
